Shipping

Note:  Preference is given to local customers willing to pick up in Irwin, Pennsylvania, 15642.  Pickup must be arranged.  Payment must be made either before pickup or at the time of pickup. 

 

Shipping costs are expensive because it ensures the best possible conditions for your fish and a live arrival.  The box is insulated and since bettas are tropical, they require a heat pack.  The cost of these items is built into the price of shipping.  My shipping rates are a flat rate and subject to change. Express 1 Day and Priority Shipping only.  I only ship in the continental United States.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) and Refund Policy

By buying my fish you agree to these terms. Refunds are only offered if your fish arrives deceased.  You must contact me within an hour of the delivery with a picture of the dead fish still in the shipping box or you forfeit any refund.  Shipping costs are non-refundable. Pictures provided on this site are not always an accurate depiction of the coloration of the fish.  Genetics can also cause a fish's color to change as it matures.  There is no refund for unexpected colors.  A copy of this policy will be included in every shipment. Local buyers are entitled to a full refund if their fish dies within 24 hours of purchase.

  • I do not sell or use customer information.

  • I am a one person operation with a full time job and life outside of this hobby.  I may take a few days to respond any inquiries.  I DO NOT TOLERATE ABUSE.  If you are hostile in any way towards me or my hobby, you will be blacklisted at worst, or ignored at best.

  • I am willing to make arrangements with local reputable small pet stores if they are interested in selling my fish.
